Today I’m up to my ears with mass emails coming from our Chamber. Isn’t there some sort of mass-email etiquette to ad hear to? It’s ridiculous. It’s only Tuesday and I have received 5 mass-emails from them, two of them being duplicates. One was sent this morning, along with everyone’s email address in the sent ‘to’ option, making my email available to the rest of their membership list and vice-versa. Have we ever heard of the ‘bcc’ option or an excel mail merge or….? Now the majority of time they do use a cheap email marketing firm but not today.
So here is the deal…I’m going to start tracking how many emails I receive in a week from our Chamber. I’ll break it down into mass emails and personal emails, day-by-day, for a month. That will give me something constructive to do while I’m at work, right?
